My first political event happened while I was at SFSU studying photojournalism. I was in the darkroom, and suddenly students were quickly exiting.  The Rodney King verdict was just announced and the next thing I knew, the journalism department was empty.  I grabbed my camera, eight rolls of film and spent the next 24 hours covering that protest.  While most of my work is portraits, I love doing photo coverage for www.probonophoto.com
